1. General terms

1.1. The rules concern  Student’s short films overview 4’61”

1.2. Jarosław Perszko, Wacław Tadeusz Ostrowski and Paweł Dudko are the organizers.

1.3. The overview is held as a part of the 6th Science and Art Festival.

1.4. The eliminations (15.03-15.05.2008) and the show (27.05.2008) make up the overview  will take place on Architecture Department of Białystok Technical University at Grunwaldzka Street 11/15 in Białystok.

1.5. The official website of the overview is www.461.prv.pl and it is to be filled with the current news.

 

2. Taking part in the overview

2.1. Anyone interested is allowed to apply.

2.2. Participation is free of charge.

2.3. Participation and given data are voluntary.

2.4. By submitting the application the participant agrees on the regulations of the overview.

 

3. Sending applications

3.1. A film of any subject can be submitted. The only limit is the time. It cannot be longer than 4 minutes 61 seconds.

3.2. It can be filmed in any technique, but needs to be digitally recorded, as specified in point 3.3.

3.3. The film must be delivered in the digital form (file types AVI, MPEG, RMVB, MOV, flash).

3.4.To submit select any of the proposed forms:

3.4.2. Bring it from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 8 pm to the porter’s lodge of

the Architecture Department of Białystok Technical University at Grunwaldzka Street 11/15 in Białystok.

3.4. A copy of the application form (available on the website) must be attached to the submission.

3.5. Submission deadline is on 15^th May 2008 at 9 pm. It is the time the film must be delivered to the organizers.

3.6. There is no size limit, but the film needs to be easy to play(projectable)

3.7. Each participant can submit as many films as they want.

3.8. By submitting the application the participant agrees that organizers use their film in a show, on the website, and as a promotion.

 

4. The eliminations and show

4.1.The submitted film must be created on one’s own (by a person or a group) and cannot be under any regulations forbidding the organizers to show it. Under no circumstances can the submission violate public image or privacy of anyone (alive or late) or infringe property rights. The content needs to gain approval of viewers of any age. If organizers find a film crude, offensive or inappropriate, it will be disqualified. As long as there are parts to which the author does not own the copyright, the official permission to use it ought to be delivered to the organizers.

4.2. Only the submissions in accordance with the RULES will be presented.

4.3. The films will be showed and applauded on 27^th May 2008 in the hall of the Architecture Department of Białystok Technical University at Grunwaldzka Street 11/15 in Białystok.

 

7. Final terms

7.1. No submitted films are to be given back.

7.2. We ask you not to care about the rules …but make the films!
